The advantages of utilizing a computer that is activated through touch vs. a mouse are numerous and vary depending upon the application.  In most cases, the simplicity of use saves time, money and creates a more positive interaction.  Employees are trained quicker and are more accurate when using touchscreens.   In customer-service industries this translates to more satisfied customers resulting in repeat customers and increased sales.
